We believe in a cultural sector that is rooted in society.
One that not only reflects, but helps shape direction. One that matters—especially when it challenges. A strong cultural sector is multi-voiced and representative.
It reflects the world we live in—across perspectives, backgrounds and stories—and makes space for voices that have too often been overlooked. It is entrepreneurial and imaginative.
Not because profit is the goal, but because independence and imagination are needed to take risks and remain relevant. A strong cultural sector inspires—and challenges.
It looks ahead. Not by following trends, but by staying in dialogue with a changing society and embracing new ways of creating, working and organising.
This manifesto is our starting point.

DDJ& is a certified B Corp.
Which means we don’t just say we do things differently—we have it independently verified against international standards. B Corp is a certification for organisations that create measurable positive impact on people, the sector, and society. It doesn’t assess intentions, but actions: from governance and transparency to working conditions, inclusion, and social responsibility.

The certification process is rigorous and in-depth. Organisations are assessed against more than a hundred criteria and must substantiate their choices with evidence. Only a proportion of applicants are certified—and certification is periodically reviewed.
We score well above the benchmark. Not because everything is perfect, but because we consistently choose:
Fair and carefully designed recruitment processes
Actively reducing bias and exclusion
Transparency towards both candidates and clients
Responsibility that goes beyond the individual placement
For us, B Corp is not a label, but a working framework. It keeps us sharp, accountable, and consistent—in every decision we make.
